How I became Me

As the title goes, here is how I became me. I was born on August 29, 1983 in Las Pinas. I can't remember the name of the hospital though. According to my mom I was 7.9pounds I think. I am the youngest among 3 siblings. My sister is 7 years older than me and my brother is 6 years older than me. Talk about age gap! My first 4 years I spent growing up in Cavite. Annoying my sister and my brother and just having fun. Dad was working abroad that time already. Before I turned 5 years we migrated to Bahrain where I spent the majority of my formative years. When we arrived there, we weren't allowed to speak in Tagalog since we would be studying in an international school ( at least I think it is! /heh). So life in Bahrain is so much different here in the Philippines. I started going to school at the age of 6 or 7 and went straight to first grade! (wow one of my greatest achievements academically! ). People over there were a lot different. Really different. I grew in an environment where people were not afraid to communicate how they feel. If some didn't like they would go straight to that person and tell it you right in your face that they hate your guts. Somehow I invibed that. I can be really frank at times. Telling people the real deal without having to go through all that ugly scenes of spreading rumors behind that persons back. There was an instance in school where a girl confronted me and told that she didn't like me. I shrugged and then told her that I didn't like her either. It was that simple. No complications. One thing I also learned in Bahrain is that I shouldn't mind what other people think about me. As long as I ain't doing anything wrong then why should I give a shit about what they think about me. So I reached grade 6 and unfortunately had to go back to the Philippines since my brother and sister were taking there college degree here. So when I was about 11 or 12 we went back to the Philippines. When we came back I had to go back to grade 5 since I really didn't know any tagalog words or even understood it. If i entered grade 6 I would have flunked the NEAT exam and would eventually have to repeat the sixth grade. So I had a tutor for my Filipino and was pulled back a grade. ( ) I studied in St. Thomas More. It was just near our house. That was when I experienced the Filipino culture! I had alot of adjusting to do. I never knew that being frank was a bad thing here in the Philippines so I was also seen as a "mataray" and "masungit" . ( if they only knew me! ) Oh well I have to cut it short since I am doing this blog at work. Maybe during my break I'll finish the second part! Later!!

AUGUST!!! YIPEE!!!!

It's the month of the August again, and this is the best August for me!!

August 8 - 11 months n kami ni hubby!
August 26 - Mass and rehearsal for graduation!!
August 29 - Birthday ko!!

What a month!! This will be one memorable month for me! Goodbye Mapua!! At last!! Tapos na thesis!! No more studying!!! Pero meron pa din ako mamimiss sa Mapua. Ung paligid ng school ang mimiss ko. ung times na tumatambay kami sa wall pag walang klase. tapos cutting classes minsan. Pero overall ang saya talaga ng august!! dami happening!!!

Life after college!

graduate na sa wakas! Kala ko after graduation pa easy easy lang! hindi naman pala! Ang hirap mag hanap ng trabaho! Mahirap na maging mapili sa work ngayon! baka lalo ako walang mahanap! Halata pala pag hindi ka tanggap sa isang trabaho. Kadalasan sinasabi na wait for our call until the end of week. End of the month na wala pa din tawag. Mas ok pa sana kung sabihin agad sayo na hindi ka tanggap para makahanap ka na ulit na puwedeng applyan.
