Check out this new Hard Rice Cake Pet. Get a chance to own one after finishing the Moon Festival Quest! Posted Image Moon Festival Quest Guide: Step 1 Posted Image Moon Festival Staff 1) Go visit one of the Moon Festival Staff NPCs to head to the moon-viewing area where the quest NPCs are. Posted Image 2) They are located in the following locations: Payon (173 111) Prontera (155 285) Geffen (117 74) Yuno (171 182) Lighthalzen (162 109) Rachel (133 144) Step 2 Posted Image Moon Festival Boss Posted Image 1) Talk to the Moon Festival Boss NPC to know more about the situation. He will ask you to collect Small Rice Cake Dough (x40). Step 3 Posted Image Defeat the Hot Rice Cake monster Posted Image Collect 40 of this item 1) Go outside and hunt Hot Ricecake monsters and collect Small Rice Cake Dough (x40). You will find Hot Ricecake in most fields and dungeon maps, though only several will spawn in each map. Step 4 Posted Image Moon Festival Boss 1) Once you have Small Rice Cake Dough (x40) speak with Moon Festival Boss again and you will receive the taming item Mysterious Rice Powder (x5) Posted Image 2) If you want more Mysterious Rice Powder, then you will have to buy it from Moon Festival Boss for 3,000 zeny each. Step 5 Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image 1) Go back outside and search for Hot Ricecake monster again and use the Mysterious Rice Powder taming item on it to get a Hard Rice Cake pet. 2) Use a Pet Incubator ot hatch your pet. 3) Your Hot Ricecake pet eats Green Herbs. Step 6 Posted Image Moon Festival Boss Posted Image Posted Image 1) Return to Moon Festival Boss. You can give him your Hard Rice Cake pet and he will give you a Spring Rabbit Hat. Step 7 Posted Image Miss Interpreting Kitty 1) You can also talk to Miss Interpreting Kitty NPC and trade Small Rice Dough and other items for very useful consumables.
