Pet: http://img168.imageshack.us/img168/523/550470opln9i59wiis3.gif Gift: http://209.85.62.24/71/26/0/p63822/gift_kisses.gif	Share your experience about how you got bitten by the bookworm... i started when i was a teenager. any books i read before that were comics. my american aunt gave me 2 books for my birthday. i think i was 12 then. my first books were by Enid Blyton entitled "The Little brown bear" and "A Hole in Her Pocket". Its a collection of short stories with pictures /heh needless to say, i loved them. After that, my favorite shopping place became the national bookstore. i went from Enid Blyton's books to Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys to SweetValley to Romance novels /heh now, im out of the reading hobby... but i still keep my 2 precious books. :)

°nakakatawa ang KARMA° Posts: 4,131 Group: e-mod Member #50 Joined: May 1, 2008 Gender: Female Current Mood: perpetual pms Pet: http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk171/iloungepets/loli_ruri_wait.gif	since my parents won't let me go out, they showered me with books to pass the time. the first book i ever appreciated was charlotte bronte's abridged "jane eyre"...since it was a romance/gothic novel, i was so engrossed by it that i went on to read other abridged novels that was bought for me like tom sawyer/huckleberry finn/etc because i though most of the books are of the same theme (i was 9 years old). then i saw this anime series on tv (we were living in thailand then) called "saint seiya". because of the series, i got engrossed on roman and greek mythology. i think i was hooked on it for 2 years but because of it, i learned a lot about art etc...blah blah blah blah blah (nerd talking). :D un. Lalo na yung tungkol sa Elephant, nalimutan ko yung title (Dumble or ewan, basta may letter D); tapos na-adik ako sa mga storybooks from Walt Disney, at binilhan ako ng maraming ganun ng mama ko. Hehe! Ngayon, binigay ko na sa mga batang pinsan ko as gift since mga pambata yung narration-telling at mga pictures dun. Ngayon, anong klaseng book na ba?! Hahaha! Oy, di katulad nung iniisp mo a?! :p Well, just kiddin'! ^^

I was not that much of a book reader until my classmate handed me these cheap Tagalog romance pocketbooks. Haha! That was way back in 4th year HS kasi nakakaantok ung Physics class namin (imagine, 1pm?) So un, iniipit namin ung pocketbook sa makapal na Physics book kunwari nagbabasa ng maigi. After the pocketbook addiction, we were 'forced' to read Harry Potter Series 1 & 2. It was part of our English class curriculum (World Literature topic) back then in 4th year. Never been so grateful for my English teacher cause I've really loved the series! Since then, nagbabasa na ako ng mga libro. The very first book that I've bought is the abridged book of The Canterbury Tales of Geoffrey Chaucer which I find boring.
