How to access Group Sections: In order to access the Guild & Group sections, you must log in your account here in iLounge and be a member of the group first. How to join a group: 1. Follow the link --> Joinable Groups (Or take the long way: At the top of the forum, click the Preferences button. In the Profile Options menu, select Joinable Groups.) 2. If you see a group that you would like to be a member of, select Join Group or Request Approval, depending on whether leader approval is required. If the group you are trying to join is by invitation only, try contacting one of the group's leaders, which can be found by clicking View Members & Leaders in the group's column. How to Create a Group: Groups can only be created by the board Administrators. To apply for a group you must post your application in here --> Group Application Read & understand the instructions on the first post before posting your applications. Additional Information: Types of Joinable Groups There are three types of joinable groups: 1. Open to all Members - This means that any user can join the group without restriction. 2. Leader Approval Required - This means that users will have to be approved by one of the group's leaders before becoming a member. 3. Invitation Required - This means that no user will be able to join without first being invited by an existing user. How to approve members: (for group leaders) If setting is Leader Approval 1. Follow the link --> Joinable Groups (Or take the long way: At the top of the forum, click the Preferences button. In the Profile Options menu, select Joinable Groups.) 2. Below the lists of Joinable Groups you'll see another table with the title You are the Leader of: and a link will be provided under the Group Action column if there are members awaiting for your approval. How to leave a Group: If for some reason you wish to leave a group that you previously joined, follow these steps: 1. Follow the link --> Joinable Groups (Or take the long way: At the top of the forum, click the Preferences button. In the Profile Options menu, select Joinable Groups.) 3. Locate the row of the group that you wish to leave, and select Leave Group. If you have questions and other concerns regarding this feature please post it here... |
