My RO freezes everytime I alt tabbed

El Jefe Posts: 147 Group: Privileged Lounger (MD) Member #425 Joined: Jul 29, 2008 Gender: Male Current Mood: facepalm	Eto original specs 2 years ago: Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz Memory: 512MB RAM Video Card : 64mb ^yan yung time na di nagloloko pag nag aalt tab ako. tapos nasira siya eh, pinalitan ng ganung processor din pati yung memory nadale. naging 256mb yung memory since di pa kami nakaka bili ng bagong memory. mabagal talaga sobra. hahaha! aabutin ka ng 10mins sa pag boot. Bumili kami ng bagong memory ram na 1gig worth 1.7k sa GH. Nilagay ko na, mabilis naman. Pero problema ko lang talaga is sa RO eh. Nag freeze siya sa tuwing mag alt tab ako. Kaya lagi tuloy akong dc. 64mb video card pa rin tulad ng dati. Sa tingin mo anong problema? 1gig na nga memory RAM ko eh. Baka dahil sa KAV 8. hahahaha! Sa tuwing i task manager ko, lumalabas na process usage niya is 400+ lang out of 1307 (commit charge).

8 3 1 Posts: 171 Group: Privileged Lounger (MD) Member #188 Joined: May 14, 2008	It could be a problem with your v.card. Try running your RO ng hindi naka full screen. Tapos chaka ka mag alt+tab :) And nakaka sira talga sa graphics and it do really causes lag/hang and even sometimes system crash kapag naka full-screen ka tapos alt+tab ka ng alt+tab. The fact na hindi ganun kataas yung video card mo, crash talaga ang mangyayari nyan. If you want, you can also try lowering the graphic settings ng RO mo, then kahit naka full-screen ka try mo mag alt+tab padin kung mag ca-crash sya. Tanda na ng video card ko eh. Damn. :( Okay thanks sa mga replies. ^^ Nga pala minsan may lumalabas na LOW IN VIRTUAL MEMORY DAW? Baka yun yung problema. Eh 1gig naman memory RAM ko. Try to upgrade your v.card : atleast 128mb, depende sa ibang specs ng computer mo. Make sure also na i-check mo yung slot ng motherboard mo para sa v.card kung agp ba or pci. Oo nga pala... Gano kalaki yung Local Disk (Drive C:) space mo? imo, wag ka kukuha ng Asus na tatak na v.card. Wala lang.. /heh or.. You can try to do these steps: 1.Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties. 2.In the System Properties dialog box, click the Advanced tab. 3.In the Performance pane, click Settings. 4.In the Performance Options dialog box, click the Advanced tab. 5.In the Virtual memory pane, click Change. 6.Change the Initial size value and the Maximum size value to a higher value, click Set, and then click OK. 7.Click OK to close the Performance Options dialog box, and then click OK to close the System Properties dialog box. :) Edited by alphanumeric, Sat Aug 23, 2008 3:48 am.

IMO di ko magets bat Low in Virtual memory, that only happens kung mahina ang RAM mo(which i experience alot), but even with a RAM of 244, Di naman nagcracrash ang RO ko.
