It has been a month since the puppy Star moved in with Martha. This weekend was the towns foundation day. And in order to celebrate, the townspeople decided to have a fair.

On the day of the event, Martha decided to take Star with her. The fair was jam-packed with people; it looked like everybody in town was there! Everyone was celebrating this glorious occasion. As they were strolling around the fairgrounds, a booth caught Martha's attention. It was a book sale! Since Martha loved books, she decided to take a peek. She first tied Star's leash to a wooden pole near the booth. She also made sure that the knot was secure and told Star to stay. She then went to the booth and browsed around. It took Martha around 30 mins before she checked on her puppy. To her surprise Star was gone and only her leash was left dangling on the pole! Where had the puppy gone!

Martha is a single homeowner who worked as secretary for a local company. She lives in a quaint little apartment near the park. She is currently in a relationship with her college boyfriend named Kyuzo. They had been together since their third year and are enjoying their lives.

It was a beautiful Sunday morning when Martha decided to go to town to visit the local pet shelter. Just like any other day, Rizelmine the caretaker was there taking care of the pets.

Rizelmine: As a matter of fact I do! I have a new dog here. She just came in yesterday. Her owner left her here because she couldn't handle the responsibility of taking care of a dog. =((

Martha:Poor doggy. So do you have anyone lined up to adopt her? :confused:
Rizelmine: Well, as a matter of fact I do. I was wondering if you could adopt her. :pupeyes:

Martha: ME! :shock:
Rizelmine: You love animals and responsible. Your obviously the right choice! :smile:

Martha: Really! Ok! I'll adopt her! :ylove:

So Rizelmine and Martha took care of the paper works and before they knew it Martha was the new owner of beautiful dog named Star.

So Martha took Star home to get to know her better. Later that night her doorbell rang, and there at the door was her boyfriend Kyuzo.


Martha: /kis hi there honey!
Kyuzo: /kis2 hi honey! So how was your day? Anything interesting happen?

Martha: Well, something did happen.
Kyuzo: Really! Come on, we can talk about over dinner.

Martha: Hmm... I kinda can't leave the apartment.
Kyuzo: How come?

Martha: I kinda got a new room mate.
Kyuzo: New room mate?

Martha: Yeah, here she is! Her name is Star!
Kyuzo: You got a dog! /e1

Martha: Well she did need someone to take care of her, so I decided to adopt her. :D
Kyuzo: What made you decide to get a dog! have you forgotten that I'm allergic to dogs! *sneezes*

Martha: I'm sorry honey, I totally forgot.
Kyuzo: I can't deal with this right now!Either you get rid of the dog or I will! :angry:

Martha: I can't give her back! I kinda like having a dog with me!
Kyuzo: If you can't get rid of the dog, then I'm leaving! /e1

So Kyuzo left Martha because of the dog.
Martha was sad that Kyuzo didn't give Star a chance. :sigh: Monday morning came and Martha knew that she had to go to work. Who would take care of Star for her while she was in the office? :confused: Suddenly Martha remembered that her neighbour, Lexa, was also a pet lover. She called her up and asked if she could leave Star with her while she was in the office.Luckily Lexa agreed! :weee:

Lexa immediately fell inlove with Star :jemski: , so she happily volunteered to dogsit the puppy whenever Martha goes to work. But after a while,Lexa noticed that Star wasnt as exuberant as before. Star would spend more and more time starting outside windows rather than catching balls. So Lexa decided, that whenever Star would feel sad, she would take her for a stroll around the town, which seemed to cheer up Star very much. :delight:
